MORRIS Funeral services for Mrs. Cora Councill Morris, 81, who died early Tuesday morning, July 31, as the result of a heart attack at the home of her brother, Herbert G. Councill, in West Franklin were held Wednesday afternoon at 3 p.m. in the chapel of W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. James W. Turner, pastor of High Street Methodist church, officiating. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Mrs. Morris was the widow of Donald F. Morris and the daughter of the late William E. and Rosa Cobb Councill of Southampton County. She was a member of Hunterdale Christian Church. Surviving her are two brothers, Herbert F. and Robbie C. Councill, both of Franklin; one sister, Mrs. Rosa Sheffield of Suffolk, and a number of nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers were William Henry Sheffield, Warren Councill, Robbie C. Councill, Jr., William Thomas Councill, W.S. Councill and Jeff Sledge, all nephews of the deceased. Cora A. (COUNCILL; Mrs. Donald F.)
