Holland & Sons Funeral Home by the Reverends W.F. McMahan and R.A. Arnold. Burial was in the Capron Cemetery. Pallbearers were Clyde Marks, Sterling Marks, Wayne Marks, Marks Turner, Paul C. Marks, R.F. Marks, Jr., Lonn Marks and Lewis Babb. Marks, 70, died Saturday morning in a hospital. A native of Southampton County, he was a son of Aubrey Pope and Mrs. Annie Fox Marks and the husband of Mrs. Willie Dickens Marks. He was a member of Capron Methodist church and Ridley Hunt Club and a charter member of Capron Ruritan Club. Besides his wife, he is survived by his stepmother, Mrs. Estelle Marks of Capron; two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Turner of Capron and Mrs. Virginia Fink of Hopewell; and two brothers, J.C. Marks of Capron and P.W. Marks of Courtland.
