EMMITT QUINCY MURFEE

Emmitt Quincy Murfee, age 91, died March 25, 1985.  He is survived by one son, 
Donald G. Murfee of Drewryville; one sister, Mrs. Daisy M. Hottenstein of 
Norfolk; two grandchildren, D.C. Murfee, Jr. of Charlotte, NC and Sarah M. 
Round of Virginia Beach; three great-grandchildren, Wesla Kemper Murfee and 
Jonathan Archer Murfee both of Charlotte, NC, Laurel Hunter Round of Virginia 
Beach; several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be conducted 2:30 
p.m. Wednesday at the Thomas Memorial Baptist Church, Drewryville with 
interment in the Drewryville Cemetery.  Family will receive friends 7-8:30 
p.m. Tuesday at the Echols Funeral Home, Emporia.  In lieu of flowers 
contributions may be made to the Thomas Memorial Baptist Church.
