ROSA JORDAN MURFEE 

   PORTSMOUTH - Oct. 21 - Mrs. Rosa Jordan Murfee, 92, widow of Emmett Allen 
Murfee of Portsmouth, died Friday at a Portsmouth hospital.  She is survived 
by four daughters, Mrs. T. Bronson Ray of Richmond, Mrs. W.R. McPherson of 
Norfolk, Mrs. David Hottenstein of Great Neck Point, Princess Anne County and 
Mrs. A.W. Marable of Portsmouth; two sons, J.A. Murfee of Norfolk, and E.Q. 
Murfee of Drewryville, six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.  A 
funeral service will be held in Portsmouth Sunday with burial in St. Thomas 
Memorial Baptist Church cemetery, Drewryville, Southampton County.
