All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ SHIRLEY MAE BUTLER MARCH Mrs. Shirley Mae Butler March, 37, wife of Linwood Dalton March of Franklin, died in Raiford Memorial Hospital early Saturday after a long illness. She was a member of Franklin Baptist Church and the Stephenson Circle. She was the most excellent chief of the Pythian Sisters of Southampton Temple 15 and an active leader in the Girl Scouts. Survivors in addition to her husband and parents are two daughters, Gwendolyn March and Jacqueline March and one son, Linwood Dalton March, Jr., all of Franklin; two brothers, T.B. Butler, Jr., and Robert Butler of Windsor and two sisters, Mrs. Elaine Griffin of Windsor and Mrs. Becky Hobson of Washington. A funeral service was held in Franklin Baptist Church Monday at 2 p.m. by the pastor, the Rev. Ira D. Hudgins, and the Rev. Donald E. Trump, pastor of Colosse Baptist Church. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Pallbearers were J.J. Bradshaw, Robert E. Hollowell, Daniel P. Rideout, Clifton Wade, William Duck and Edward Galvin. Shirley Mae (BUTLER; Mrs. Linwood D.)
