Holland and Sons Funeral Home by Dr. R.E. Brittle. Pallbearers will be Sol Rose, J.J. Bradshaw, Francis Collier, Freeman Harrell, Henry H. Gardner and Ben Marks. Burial will be in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Mrs. March, 42, of 136 Country Club Rd., Franklin died Tuesday morning in a Norfolk hospital after a brief illness. A native of Southampton County, she lived in this area all her life. She was the wife of Linwood Dalton* March and a daughter of Mrs. Sweetie Lee Blythe and the late Charlie Blythe. She was a member of Hunterdale United Church of Christ. Besides her husband and mother, surviving are three daughters, Miss Jo Ann West of Richmond, Mrs. Gwenn M. Peters of Roanoke, and Mrs. Jackie M. Cotton of Virginia Beach; two sons, Raymond Bruce West and Linwood Dalton March Jr. of Franklin; eight sisters, Mrs. Vergie Harrison of Norfolk, Mrs. Vina Overby and Mrs. Lola Bass of Courtland, Mrs. Doris Holt and Mrs. Janice Hollowell of Franklin, Mrs. Margaret Wilson of Portsmouth, Mrs. Stella Richardson of Virginia Beach, and Mrs. Claris Graham of Chesapeake; three brothers, Edgar Blythe, Charles M. Blythe and Carey H. Blythe of Franklin; and three granddaughters. *Text, as originally published, gave her husband's middle name as Marlton, rather than Dalton.
