All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ ELIZABETH HORNOK MARSHALL COURTLAND - A funeral service for Mrs. Elizabeth Hornok Marshall was conducted Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Judes Catholic Church, Franklin, by Father Antonio Malaband. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Courtland, with W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home, Franklin, in charge. Pallbearers were Joe P. Gyoker, L.A. Applewhite, Will H. Story, Joe Vargo, Thomas Vaughan and Ernest Andrisk. Mrs. Marshall, 52, was fatally injured Tuesday about 7 p.m. when her car overturned on a rural road two miles south of Courtland. Dr. Henry L. Gardner Jr., Southampton County medical examiner, said her car ran off the road, overturned and threw her over a fence into a field. She died in an ambulance on the way to Southampton Memorial Hospital, Franklin, Dr. Gardner said. A native of Coalwood, W.Va., Mrs. Marshall lived here most of her life. She was the widow of Leonard Marshall and a daughter of Mrs. Helen Ronscek Hornok of Hungary and the late Andrew Hornok. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church, Franklin. She worked for Hancock Peanut Co., Courtland. Surviving besides her mother, are five sisters, Mrs. Helen Kume of Courtland, Mrs. Julian Pellettieri of Riverview, Fla., Mrs. Mary Semiklosi of Elizabeth, N.J., Mrs. Irene Lemak of Pittsburgh, and Mrs. Ethel Skodzenski of West Point; and five brothers, Andrew Hornok Jr. of Clifton, N.J., Steve Hornok of Courtland, the Rev. John Hornok of Kearns, Utah, Joseph P. Hornok of Woodland, N.C., and Mike Hornok of Suffolk. Elizabeth Rose (HORNOK; Mrs. Leonard S.)
