R.D. Kidd. W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home in charge Marshall, of 596 South High Street, died Monday at 6 a.m. in Greenville Memorial Hospital after a long illness. A native of King & Queen County. He was a son of Richard Thomas and Mrs. Daisy Maude Bristow Marshall and the husband of Mrs. Mary Dunston Marshall. He was a retired service station operator and a Methodist. Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Elsie M. Denson of Franklin, Mrs. Vernell M. Nicholson of Norfolk; four sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Thurston and Mrs. Bessie Rommell of Richmond, Mrs. Mary Taafe of Baltimore, Mrs. Lottie Thurston of Schacklesford, Va.; two brothers, Will Marshall of Franklin, Irvin Marshall of Baltimore and five grandchildren.
