IRENE JEANETTE ELLIS MARSHALL 

   FRANKLIN - A funeral service for Irene Jeanette Ellis Marshall, 49, was 
held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in Holland-Rideout Funeral Chapel, Franklin, by 
the Rev. William E. Hawkins and R.E. Brittle.  Burial was in Southampton 
Memorial Park.

   Mrs. Marshall died Wednesday in Southampton Memorial Hospital.

   A native of Suffolk, she was the wife of Alfred H. Marshall Sr. and was 
a member of Bethel Assembly of God.  She was a daughter of Daughty Raleigh 
Lee and Donnie Riddick Ellis.

   Other survivors include a daughter, Rebecca Annette Fowler and two sons, 
Alfred H. Marshall, Jr. and Rodney Van Marshall, all of Franklin; a sister 
Lois E. Mahon of Meadow, W. Va.; and two granddaughters.
