JANIE COLLINS MORGAN

   FRANKLIN - Janie Collins Morgan, 82, of the 400 block of W. 3rd Ave., died 
March 13, in a hospital.

   Mrs. Morgan, a native of Franklin County, N.C., was the widow of Irving* S. 
Morgan.  She was a Baptist.

   Survivors include a daughter, Helen Sledge of Franklin; a son, Elmo Bass of 
Dallas, Tx.; and three grandchildren.

   A graveside service was conducted Sunday in Rosemont Cemetery, Sedley by 
the Rev. Joseph A. Slane.  Wright Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
