WILLIE BELLE MOORMAN MORGAN

   GLADYS - A graveside funeral service for Mrs. Willie M. Morgan, 83, a 
native of Gladys* and resident of Franklin for the last several years was held 
Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in Kedron Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. William H. 
Pollok, the Rev. David Bailey and the Rev. Joseph Care.

   The wife of the late Dr. Lucius D. Morgan, she was born in Bedford* the 
daughter of the late Dr. John H. Moorman.

   She was the mother of the late Dr. T.A. Morgan of Franklin.**

   She was a member of the Wesleybury United Methodist Church.

   She is survived by three daughters Mrs. Daniel K. Peak of Franklin, Mrs. 
Norvin G. Maloney of Wilmington, Del. and Mrs. James R. Wooding of California; 
one sister Miss Kathleen Moorman of Portsmouth; one brother Dr. John Hope 
Moorman of Mt. Jackson; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

   In lieu of flowers the family has requested contributions be made to the 
Southampton Memorial Hospital cardiac care unit in Franklin.

Her parents are buried in a MOORMAN family cemetery in Franklin Co. 
   (Find A Grave Mem. #154399491) 

Her family appeared in the 1900 Census in Gills Creek Dist. (NW pt, #27), 
   Franklin Co. (sheet 1A, stamped p. 88) 

*Her Death Certificate (#72 008214) gives b. 9 Mar 1888, Virginia.
