CHARLES EDWARD NEAVE

   IVOR - A funeral service for Charles Edward Neave was conducted Sunday at 
2 p.m. in Corinth Friends Meeting by the Rev. James A. Coney assisted by the 
Rev. Harry A. Wellons.  Burial was in Ivor Cemetery with Purviance Funeral 
Home, Wakefield, in charge.

   Pallbearers were Richard Neave, Allen Neave, Reynolds Neave, Elton Raiford, 
Paul Branche and Wilroy Stephenson.

   Neave, 84, died Wednesday night in a Franklin hospital after a short 
illness.

   A native of Charles County, Md., he was a son of Samuel R. and Mrs. Lillian 
Haviland Neave.  He was a retired farmer and member of Corinth Friends Meeting.

   He was the husband of the late Linnie Raiford Neave.

   Surviving are two sons, Walter H. Neave and Charles Edward Neave Jr. of 
Ivor; a brother, Allen J. Neave of Houston, Tex.; and seven grandchildren.
