All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ WILLIAM RUFUS NEAVE IVOR - William Rufus Neave, 46, a farmer and lifelong resident of the Ivor community, died Wednesday morning at Obici Hospital in Suffolk after a brief illness. He was a son of Charles Edward Neave and the late Mrs. Linnie Raiford Neave of Southampton County. He was a member of the Corinth Friends Meeting. Surviving him, besides his father, are two brothers, Edward Neave and Walter Neave, both of Ivor. Funeral services were conducted on Friday at 3 p.m. in the Corinth Friends Meeting by the Rev. Evin Nolder of Ivor, the Rev. James A. Coney of Sedley, the Rev. Harry Wellons of Victoria and the Rev. Emmett Frazier of Richmond. Burial was in Ivor Cemetery. Pallbearers were John Raiford, Elton Raiford, Jesse Lowe, Wilroy Stephenson, Paul Branch and Joseph Raiford.
