All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ WALTER HAVILAND NEAVE IVOR - A funeral for Walter Haviland Neave, 67, will be held today at 2 p.m. in Corinth Friends Meetings by the Revs. Cafer Marley and Hershel Hill. Burial will held in Ivor Cemetery. Pallbearers are: Wilroy Stephens, Elton Stephens, Elton Raiford, Charlie Stieh, Paul Branch, Edgar Lowe, Will Holt Jr. and Merle Holt. Neave died Tuesday in a hospital. A retired farmer and native of Maryland, he was a member of Corinth Friends Meeting where he had served as superintendent of the Sunday school for 20 years. He was also an elder and a choir member. Survivors include a daughter, Alice N. Stutts of Franklin; a son, Larry L. Neave of Ivor; a brother, C. Edward Neave Jr. of Ivor; and two grandchildren. Purviance Funeral Home of Wakefield is in charge of the arrangements.
