ALBERT PAUL NICHOLS

   VIRGINIA BEACH - Albert Paul Nichols, 74, of 6309 Blakely Square, a native 
of Stamford, Conn., died Monday in his home.

   He had retired from th city of Stamford as a foreman.  He was a member of 
St. Mary's Catholic Church in Stamford.

   Survivors include his wife, Louise Barnes Nichols; three daughters, 
Patricia Nichols of Tampa, Fla., Ruth N. Bradley of Virginia Beach and Nancy 
N. Jacobson of Germany; a son, A. Paul Nichols of Danbury, Conn.; three 
sisters, Florence N. Phelan, Catherine N. Mullqueen and Louise Nicholas, all 
of Stamford; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

   A funeral Mass was to be offered at 11 a.m. today in St. Jude's Catholic 
Church, Franklin, by the Rev. Albert F. Pereira.  Burial will be in Poplar 
Spring Cemetery, Franklin. Wright Funeral Home of Franklin is in charge.

   Memorial donations may be sent to the Kempsville Rescue Squad.

interred in Poplar Spring Cemetery (Section 2, Plot 16*), Franklin,
