NEWSOMS [sic*] FRANKLIN, June 18 - Funeral services for Mrs. Fannie Britton Newsoms, who died Tuesday morning in a Richmond hospital, were conducted today at 2 p.m. at the W.J.M. Holland and Sons funeral home by the Rev. J.T. Cassell, pastor of Capron Methodist Church, and the Rev. R.D. Stephenson, pastor of Black Creek Baptist Church. Burial was in the Black Creek Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Hughie Powers, Jr., Wilson Burgess, Lloyd Burgess, Larry Butler, Floyd Wade, Jr., Roland Newsoms, Emerson Burgress and Earl Burgess.
