CLIFFORD ALBERT COBB NORFLEET 

   Mrs. Clifford Albert Norfleet, 85, widow of Isaac Walter Norfleet 
of Franklin, died Saturday afternoon, February 10, at the residence in 
Drewryville of her daughter, Mrs. Henry E. Grizzard, with whom she had 
made her home for the past 30 years.  Her death, resulted from the 
infirmities of old age.  She was a member of the Drewryville Methodist 
Church.

   The deceased was the daughter of the late John Albert and Virginia 
Susanna Cain Cobb of this county.

   In addition to her daughter, Mrs. Grizzard, she is survived by three 
sons, Linwood B. Norfleet and Walter H. Norfleet of Franklin and John 
Albert Norfleet of Greensboro, N.C.; and 17 grandchildren and 14 great-
grandchildren.

   Funeral services were held at the Holland Funeral Home, Franklin, on 
Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, with Rev. L.O. Wright of Capron and 
H.B. Jennings of Drewryville officiating.

   Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery, the active pallbearers being 
Walter Grizzard, Norfleet Grizzard, James Grizzard, Linwood Grizzard, 
Walter Norfleet, Jr., and John A. Norfleet, Jr. all grandsons of the 
deceased.
