On Tuesday afternoon, June the 12th, James Lawless Norfleet, the seven- months old son of Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Norfleet died at the home of parents on Clay Street. The interment was held in Poplar Spring Cemetery, Wednesday afternoon at o'clock, Rev. Dr. J.D. Hufham conducting the burial rites. The active pall-bearers were: Messrs. Elliot Story, Robert Cobb, Franklin Edwards and Burton Fleetwood. Honorary pall-bearers: Messrs. Abe. Gardner, Patrick Gay, Reginald Turner and Percy Everette.
