All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ MINNIE ESTELLE BRETT NORFLEET Mrs. Minnie Estelle Norfleet of Franklin, age 67, wife of Jesse Cordy Norfleet, died in Raiford Memorial Hospital Monday, November 20. Mrs. Norfleet was born in Hertford County, N.C., on May 1, 1877 and was the daughter of the late John and Agnes Pond Brett. Besides her husband she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. N.L. Jordan, Mrs. H.L. Caroon and Mrs. C.F. Old; two sisters, Mrs. Will H. Norfleet and Miss Ida Brett all of Franklin; 16 grandchildren, and one great grandchild. She was a member of Franklin Methodist Church. Services were conducted at the Holland Funeral Home on Wednesday morning November 22, at 11 o’clock by the Rev. Ernest W. Aaron assisted by Rev. R.D. Stephenson. Joel Holland sang accompanied by J. Edgar Weede. Interment was in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Louis Brett, John Norfleet, Raiford Whitfield, A.E.
