HELEN GRIFFIN OWENS FISHER NORECK

   A funeral service for Mrs. Helen Owens Noreck of Fourth Ave. Apartments, 
Franklin, was held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Poplar Spring Cemetery by the 
Rev. Ira D. Hudgins.

   Mrs. Noreck died Monday at 4:30 a.m. in Southampton Memorial Hospital 
after a brief illness.

   A native of Franklin, she was the wife of S.J. Noreck and a daughter of 
the late John B. and Mrs. Helen Griffin Owens.

   She was a member of Franklin Baptist Church.

   Besides her husband, surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Shirley Fisher Orr 
of Bristol, Tenn.; two sons, Lawrence J. Fisher Jr. of Darien, Conn. and 
James I. Fisher of Richmond; a sister, Mrs. Junius W. Pulley of Courtland; 
ten grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
