ANNIE VICK O’BERRY 

   Mrs. Annie Vick O’berry, 63, wife of W.T. O’berry, Sr., died at the 
residence in Newsoms at 6 o’clock Wednesday morning, April 23, after an 
illness of more than two years.

   She was the daughter of the late William Henry and Martha Ferguson 
Vick of this county, and a member of the Newsoms Baptist Church.

   Besides her husband Mrs. O’berry is survived by three daughters, Mrs. 
Aubrey Austin of Four Oaks, N.C., Mrs. W.B. Fowler of Wendell, N.C., and 
Mrs. J.L. Carter of Newsoms; and three sons, Edward R., James F. and W.T. 
O’berry, Jr., all of Newsoms.

   Funeral services for Mrs. O’berry were held at 2 o’clock Thursday 
afternoon at the Newsoms Baptist Church, with the pastor, Rev. R.L. 
Chadwick, and Rev. R.B. Moore officiating.  Interment was in the Newsoms 
Cemetery, the pallbearers being J.C. Bunn, E. Beale Carter, R.G. Carter, 
E.C. Felts, J.T. Story, Jr., and L.D. Story.
