O'berry of this town died at Lakeview Hospital, Suffolk, Monday, November 10, in his twenty-fifth year. Becoming suddenly ill last Saturday afternoon with an acute attack of appendicitis, he was taken to the hospital on Sunday where he died the following day after having undergone an operation. He was an estimable citizen of Franklin, an honest and hard-working man, faithful and indulgent in his home life, neighborly and unobtrusive in his community and loyal in his relations with his fellowmen. He is survived by his widow and two children; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.H. O'Berry of this town, three sisters and one brother. The body was brought here for burial and interment was made in Poplar Spring Cemetery Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock with services conducted by Rev. J.A. Chapman of the High Street M.E. Church. The pallbearers were W.O. Bristow, W.H. Lankford, W.T. Pace, Geo. H. Beale, W.A. Daughtrey, Willie Jones, Carr Glover and Johnnie Johnson. James A.
