Oliver, a former resident of Franklin, and widow of T.O.* Oliver, who died here about 25 years ago, passed away at the of home her daughter, Mrs. T.C. Graves of Stanardsville, Va., early Sunday morning, in her 77th year. Mrs. Oliver was born in Suffolk but had spent practically all of her life in this town and was one of the oldest living members of the Franklin Baptist Church. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Lee Fagan and Mrs. T.C. Graves of Stanardsville, Mrs. L.J. Allen of Washington and Mrs. J.T. Jones of Portsmouth and by two grandchildren, Oliver Fagan of Roanoke and Miss Sherwood Jones of Portsmouth. Interment was made Monday morning in the family burying ground at the old Wiggins homestead near Franklin, the services being conducted by Rev. R. D. Stephenson of the Franklin Baptist Church and Rev. Kenneth E. Burke of Sycamore Baptist Church. The body bearers were: J.L. Wiggins and J.R. Wheeler of Edenton, J.F. Kitterman of Norfolk, J.E. Wiggins of Sunbury, N.C. and I.Q. Wiggins, Joe Bynum Gay, J.A. Weede and J.T. Edwards. [*Her husband was Thomas Williamson Oliver. (bs)] [Alice Sherwood (PARKER; Mrs. Thomas W.) OLIVER, b.
