SARAH JANE OWEN 

   Tuesday morning, November 7, the death angel entered the home of Mr. and 
Mrs. C.B. Owen and claimed for its own a beautifully, sweet baby, Sarah Jane 
Owen, who was born January 23, 1922.  Jane was unusually healthy until two 
weeks prior to her death, when she became ill with pneumonia and all that 
loving hands and medical skill could do was done yet God in His infinite 
wisdom called her, one of the brightest of His gems, to come and be a Rosebud 
in His garden.

   The funeral services were conducted at the grave in Rosemont Cemetery of 
Thursday in the presence of a large number of relatives and friends.  Three 
hymns, "Asleep in Jesus," "Rock of Ages" and "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" 
were impressively sung.  The floral offerings were numerous and beautiful.

   The active pallbearers were uncles of the little one, Harwood, Joseph and 
R.W. Owen, W.F., J.E, and C. Lewis, while the honorary pallbearers were 
members of the cradle Roll of Grace Memorial Church of which Jane was a 
member.  Besides the parents, she leaves to mourn their loss a sister, 
Elizabeth, and one brother, Clarence B. Owen, Jr., and a host of relatives 
and friends.
