Owens, 75, died Thursday morning in Raiford Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She was a daughter of John B. and Mrs. Helen Griffin Owens of Franklin. Miss Owens was a lifelong resident of Franklin and a member of Franklin Baptist Church. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. W.O. Bogart and Mrs. S.J. Noreck of Franklin and Mrs. J.W. Pulley, Sr., of Courtland; and a brother, J.R. Owens of Jackson, Miss. A funeral service was conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. in Franklin Baptist Church by the Rev. Ira D. Hudgins. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Pallbearers were Handy Moore, J.W. Pulley, Jr., Bert Pulley, Graham Pulley, C.P. Holland, Jr. and James Fisher. Ruth M.
