Survived by four sisters, Mrs. Bessie P. Thompson, Mrs. Mary P. Banty, Mrs. Janie P. Griffin, all of Capron. Mrs. Willie P. Whitehurst, Chesapeake; two brothers, Thomas E. Pope, Richmond, Joseph N. Pope, Chesapeake; several nieces and nephews. Remains rest at Echols Funeral Home, Emporia, where funeral services will be conducted 2 P.M., Sunday, with interment in Capron Cemetery.
