Elizabeth Ann Pope Buried In Beechwood 

  BOYKINS - Funeral services for Elizabeth Ann Pope, who died Monday, were 
conducted Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Persons Methodist Church by the Rev. H.G. 
Thach, pastor, and the Rev. J.S. Peebles of the Capron Methodist Church. 
Burial was in Beechwood Cemetery here.  Pallbearers were Andrew Edwards, Sam 
Pope Jr., John T. Claud Jr., Billy Grizzard, Jerry Grizzard, Gene Edwards, 
Kermit Francis, Bobby Cabell, Paul Cobb and Ellis Cobb.

b. 15 Apr 1943, Southampton Co., d. 22 Jun 1959, Norfolk, 
interred in Beechwood Cemetery (Annex 2, Plot 251*), Boykins, 
   24 Jun 1959,

*Her parents, Eldridge Lee & Ruth Virginia (GARRIS) POPE, are buried in 
   the same plot.  Her paternal grandparents are buried in Annex 2, Plot 135.
