Guy Lloyd Pope, Sr., 80, of 118 Sedley Road, Franklin, died Friday night, April 21, 1978, in Southampton Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Mrs. Anne Drummond Pope. He was a retired electrician and a veteran of World War I. Surviving besides his wife are one son, Guy L. Pope, Jr. of Newport News; and one grandson. A graveside funeral service will be held Sunday at 1 P.M., Riverside Cemetery, Courtland, by the Rev. R.E. Brittle. Wright Funeral Home, Franklin in charge of arrangements.
