Amos H. Pope, USA, died in a Richmond hospital Thursday afternoon, January 11, after an illness of several months. She was the daughter of the late Louis A. [sic; Lewis Arthur*] and Naomi Crumpler Worrell, and an active member of Newsoms Baptist Church. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Richard Railey, and Mrs. J.T. Story, Jr., of Newsoms; two brothers, Corp. Louis A. Worrell, USA, stationed in France, and Corp. James E. Worrell, USA, stationed in England. Funeral services were conducted Saturday at 3 p.m. at the home by the Rev. C.L. Moseley, assisted by the Rev. John W. Morrison. Burial was in Newsoms Cemetery. Gladys Marion (WORRELL; Mrs. Amos H.)
