He was 51 years old and the son of the late Henry Pope and Mrs. Addie Stephens Pope. He is survived by four children, Amos Lee, Ralph, Madeline and Junius E., Jr., his mother of Courtland, by four brothers; Peter, of Boykins; David, of Capron; Arthur, of Courtland; Willie, of Newsoms and one sister, Miss Jennie Belle Pope, of Courtland. Funeral services were held January 8, at 3 p.m. at the grave in Capron Cemetery with Rev. L.D. Stables and R.H. Marks officiating. Active pallbearers were: S.J. Myrick, Ray Bunn, H.O. Carlton and Lee Hill.
