POPE Mrs. Margaret Katherine Pope, 84, died August 7th at her home in Carrsville after an illness of 15 months. She was a member of the Newsoms Baptist Church and had lived in the Carrsville community for the past 26 years. Survivors are her husband, J.A. Pope, a daughter, Mrs. J.A. Wright; two granddaughters and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted at the grave in Newsoms Cemetery Friday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock by the Rev. C.F. Moseley.
