She is survived by her mother, Mrs. J.E. Pope of Suffolk; two brothers, Ralph Pope of Suffolk and Junius Pope of Capron; a half-brother, Amos Pope of Boykins; her grandmother, Mrs. Addie Pope of Courtland; and her grandfather, Richard Dunlow of Branchville. Funeral services were held at 3:30 o’clock Friday afternoon at the Capron Methodist Church, with Rev. R.E. Brittle of Suffolk officiating, assisted by Rev. R.A. Fritz of Suffolk, Rev. H.B. Jennings of Drewryville, and Revs. N.B. Habel and W.L. Sturtevant of Boykins. Miss Irene Ashley sang "Beyond the Sunset," and Rev. W.L. Sturtevant sang "Sunrise Tomorrow." Miss Lizzie Story was the organist. The casket was covered with a pall of roses and carnations. Burial was in the Capron cemetery. Active pallbearers were H.H. Byrd, Sr., David Turner, H.C. Saunders, Edward Johnson, G.C. Duke and Ralph Mizelle. Madeline Mayor POPE, daughter of Junius E. Sr. & Betty E.
