Holland and Sons Funeral Home by the Rev. Phillip E. Jenkins of South Quay Baptist Church. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Pallbearers Sol. W. Rawls, Jr., Ashby Rawls, Jim Rawls, Charles Rawls, James E. Rawls, Emmett Pace, John Lee Johnson and Wayland Stephenson. ****************************************************************************** Mrs. Christine R. Pace Mrs. Christine Rawls Pace, 78, died Sunday afternoon at her home here after a long illness. The widow of W.T. Pace, she was the daughter of Robert and Dianna Cutchins Rawls of Nansemond County and was a resident here 40 years. She was a member of Franklin Baptist Church. Surviving are a sister, Miss Mable Rawls of Norfolk; three brothers, Dr. Joel C. Rawls, Sol W. Rawls and R.P. Rawls of Franklin; nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held Monday at 4 p.m. in W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Phillip E. Jenkins of South Quay Baptist Church with burial in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Pallbearers were Sol Rawls, Jr., R. Ashby Rawls, James E. Rawls, Jim Rawls, Charles Rawls, John Lee Johnson, H.W. Stephenson and Emmett H. Pace. Diane Christine (RAWLS; Mrs. William T.)
