Holland & Sons Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Charles L. Smith. Burial will be in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Pallbearers will be G. Hinson Parker Jr., Joe King Jr., Dr. Charles Swift, Winder Lane, G.E. Pillow, Robert A. Pretlow, Charles Kingery and J.J. Findley. Miss Peters, 73, a lifelong resident of Franklin, died in Southampton Memorial Hospital early Tuesday. She was a daughter of Richard A. and Mrs. Laura Atkins Peters. She was a member of Franklin Congregational Christian Church. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Lorena P. Beale of Franklin; two brothers, Patrick H. Peters of Richmond and James Shelton Peters of Falls Church; three nieces; a nephew; and three grandnephews.
