CHESAPEAKE - Richard Augustus Peters, Jr., 65, died Tuesday in his home at 1123 Chesapeake Ave. A native of Franklin, he was the son of Richard Augustus and Mrs. Laura Emory Peters and the husband of the late Mrs. Florence Hardeman Peters. He was a member of Franklin Baptist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Constance Bradshaw of Richmond and Miss Emory Ann Peters of Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. Lorena Beale and Miss Blanche Peters of Franklin; two brothers, Patrick H. Peters of Richmond and James Shelton Peters of Falls Church; and two grandchildren. A funeral service was held Thursday at 11 a.m. in Poplar Spring Cemetery, Franklin, by the Rev. Ira D. Hudgins of Franklin Baptist Church. The body is at W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home, Franklin. Pallbearers were Hinson Parker, Carl Steinhardt, Ellsworth Jones, G.E. Pillow, W.T. Pace Jr., Earnest G.
