RICHARD A. PETERS JR. 

  CHESAPEAKE - Richard Augustus Peters Jr., 65, died Thursday in his home at 
1123 Chesapeake Ave. 

  A native of Franklin, he was the son of Richard Augustus and Mrs. Laura 
Emory Peters and the husband of the late Mrs. Florence Hardeman Peters.  He 
was a member of Franklin Baptist Church. 

  Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Constance Bradshaw of Richmond and Miss 
Emory Ann Peters of Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. Lorena Beale and Miss Blanche 
Peters of Franklin; two brothers, Patrick H. Peters of Richmond and James 
Shelton Peters of Falls Church; and two grandchildren. 

  A funeral service will be held Thutsday at 11 a.m. in Poplar Spring 
Cemetery, Franklin, by the Rev. Ira D. Hudgins of Franklin Baptist Church. 
The body is at W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral Home, Franklin.

   CHESAPEAKE - Richard Augustus Peters, Jr., 65, died Tuesday in his home 
at 1123 Chesapeake Ave.

   A native of Franklin, he was the son of Richard Augustus and Mrs. Laura 
Emory Peters and the husband of the late Mrs. Florence Hardeman Peters.  He 
was a member of Franklin Baptist Church.
