Worth Peters, Jr., son of Supt. of Schools P. Worth Peters of Manassas, was buried in the family plot in Poplar Spring Cemetery here December 24, at 3:30 o’clock p.m. the R.D. Stephenson of the local Baptist Church conducting the service. Young Mr. Peters, a 17 year old boy, was killed by the accidental discharge of a gun he was cleaning while at his home in Manassas about noon December 22. He was the son of P. Worth Peters, Supt. of schools of Prince William County, his father being a native of Franklin and son of the late R.H. Peters of this town. Besides his father, he is survived by his mother, Mrs. Gladys Smith Peters; a brother, Theodore, and a sister, Fleur, all of Manassas. Pallbearers were schoolmates of his from Manassas.
