Frank B. Handley officiating, assisted by two pastors of Petersburg. Active pallbearers were H.G. Coleman, W.F. McKinstry, R.H. Powell, Jr., W. Hugh Powell, L.F. Powell and G.A. Powell. Mrs. Powell was the wife of the late Joshua Powell and a sister of the late Eugene H. Grizzard of Boykins. She is survived by ten children, Mrs. J.M. Knight of Norfolk, Mrs. Frank Wolford of Alexandria, Mrs. Herbert Chandler of Petersburg, Mrs. George Doke of Charlotte, N.C. L.F., C.A. and Maynard Powell of Richmond, Reuben Powell of Stone, Kentucky, and Raymond Powell of Pittsburgh. [Adelaide (GRIZZARD; Mrs. Joshua H.)
