Ira D. Hudgins. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Mrs. Piles died Tuesday in a hospital. A native of Southampton County, she was the widow of Henry Pile. She was a member of Franklin Baptist Church and had retired as a buyer for Leggett department store. Survivors include a sister, Marie Turner of Franklin, and a brother, Charlie Turner of Richmond.
