DOUGLAS HOLDEN PULLEY

   IVOR - Douglas Holden Pulley, 65, died early Monday in his home here after 
a long illness.

   He was a son of Frank Pierce and Mrs. Cora Stephenson Pulley.  A lifelong 
Ivor resident and a farmer, he was a member of Ivor Baptist Church.

   Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Gladys Herrin Pulley; four sons, Robert H. 
Pulley of Ivor, Douglas H. Pulley of Charlottesville and Dan P. Pulley and 
Charles M. Pulley of Richmond; three brothers, Junius W. Pulley of Courtland, 
Frank P. Pulley of Waverly and Thomas M. Pulley of Ivor; a sister, Mrs. J. 
Porter Holladay of Rapidan; and 12 grandchildren.

   A funeral service was conducted Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in Purviance Funeral 
Chapel, Wakefield, by the Rev. Bryan W. Holloman of Ivor Baptist Church. 
Burial was in Ivor Cemetery.

   Pallbearers were L.R. Brancey, N.S. Boykin, Peyton Kea, G.C. Niblett, 
Hubert Beale, Mike Eubank, S.H. Babb and Clarence Newsom.
