Edward B. Owen and the Rev. L.P. Bland. Burial was in Ivor Cemetery. Pallbearers were L.C. Felts, W.A. Felts, Rudy Felts, Clarence Felts, Meredith Felts, Marvin Felts, Roy C. Cornwell, Morris Felts, and J.C. Epps Jr. Mrs. Powell, 78, died Thursday in a Suffolk hospital. A native of Southampton County, she was a daughter of William T. and Mrs. Nannie Crumpler Felts and the widow of George C. Powell, Sr. She was a member of Ivor Methodist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Miss Mary Nannie Powell, and a son, G.C. Powell, Jr. both of Ivor; a sister, Mrs. J.C. Epps Sr. of Wakefield; four brothers: J. Henry Felts, Ben F. Felts and Edgar M. Felts of Ivor and T.C. Felts of Smithfield; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Elizabeth Thomas "Lizzie" (FELTS; George C.
