All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ LLOYD ROWLAND PULLEY Lloyd (Jack) Rowland Pulley, 53, of Stuarts Draft, died at 9:12 p.m. Monday, November 14, at King’s Daughter’s hospital where he had been admitted at 10:30 a.m. Mr. Pulley attended Finley Presbyterian Church and was a 30 year employee of DuPont Company in Waynesboro. He was born January 4, 1910, at Sedley and was a son of the late Mills Robert and Sallie Worrell Pulley. Survivors include his widow, Stella Swartzel Pulley; one son Lloyd R. Pulley Jr. of the home; two brothers, Leslie W. Pulley of Franklin and Mills R. Pulley Jr. of Smithfield; six sisters, Mrs. Rose Luttrell, Charlottesville; Mrs. Irma Norfleet and Mrs. Pearl Nelms, both of Suffolk; Mrs. Hyla Taylor of Baltimore, Md.; Mrs. Elizabeth Thacker and Mrs. Sallie Hundley, both of Smithfield; one aunt, Mrs. Margaret R. Pulley of Richmond. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 15, in the Chapel of Etter Funeral Home, Waynesboro, with interment in Augusta Memorial Park.
