Buried Thursday Franklin - Mills Robert Pulley, 72, of Smithfield, formerly of Franklin, died at the home of his son Tuesday night after an illness of two weeks. He was the son of the late B.W. and Roberta Gray Pulley, of Southampton County. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sallie Ruth Worrell Pulley, of Smithfield; three sons, M.R. Pulley, Jr., of Smithfield; L.W. Pulley, of Franklin, and Roland* Pulley, of Stuarts Draft; six daughters, Mrs. Alfred Luttrell, of Charlottesville; Mrs. Lee Norfleet, Mrs. James Thacker and Miss Sally Pulley, of Smithfield; Mrs. Dewitt Taylor, of Baltimore, and Mrs. Richard Nelms, of Suffolk; eight grandchildren and one brother, James Pulley, of Boykins. Funeral services were conducted Thursday at 2 P.M. from the Franklin Congregational Christian Church.
