NEITA SAUNDERS PULLEY

   IVOR - A funeral service for Mrs. Neita Saunders Pulley, 84, was 
held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Purviance Funeral Home Chapel, by the 
Revs. J.L. Buckingham and R.B. Garnet.  Burial was in Ivor Cemetery.

   Mrs. Pulley died Monday in a Portsmouth nursing home.

   A native of Ivor, she was the widow of Richard H. Pulley Sr.

   She was a member of Ivor Baptist Church and was Ivor town treasurer 
for 33 years until her retirement.

   Survivors include a son, Richard Pulley Jr. of Virginia Beach, a 
daughter, Mrs. Helen P. Lane of Dendron; seven grandchildren; and five 
great-grandchildren.
