RICHARD HENRY PULLEY 

IVOR MAN DIES IN RICHMOND HOSPITAL 

   Funeral services for Richard Henry Pulley, 57, prominent Ivor resident who 
died in a Richmond hospital on Wednesday, April 22, after a short illness, 
were conducted at the graveside in Ivor Cemetery on Friday afternoon at 4 
o'clock by Rev. Leander T. Saunders, Jr., of Crozet and Rev. Norman F. Jacobs, 
of Ivor. 

   Pallbearers were Douglas H. Pulley, Frank P. Pulley, Jr., Junius W. Pulley, 
Thomas M. Pulley, Homer S. Saunders, Leander T. Saunders, T.A. Saunders, Jr., 
Dr. H.M. Douglas of Norfolk, and Paul H. Brantley.

   Mr. Pulley, who was the son of the late Franklin Pierce Pulley and Mrs. 
Cora Stephenson Pulley of this county, is survived by his wife, Mrs. Neita 
Saunders Pulley of Ivor; one son, Richard Henry Pulley, Jr., of Norfolk; one 
daughter, Mrs. John Harris Lane, 3d, of Surry County; four brothers, Junius W. 
Pulley of Courtland, Frank P. Pulley, Jr., of Waverly, and D.H. Pulley and 
Thomas M. Pulley of Ivor; one sister, Mrs. Porter Holladay of Richmond; and 
five grandchildren.
