MARY COLEMAN PHILLIPS

   SUFFOLK - Funeral services for Mary Coleman Phillips, 73, were held 
Wednesday in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, by the Rev. Wayne Harrison. 
Burial was in Southampton Memorial Park.

   Phillips died Sunday in Southampton Memorial Hospital.

   He was a native of Marion, S.C. and the wife of Troy A. Phillips Sr. 
She was a retired nurse of Johnston Willis Hospital, Richmond.  She was 
a Baptist.

   Other survivors include two daughters, Clara Moseley of Richmond and 
Mary Rose of Suffolk; a son Troy A. Phillips, Jr. of Charlotte, N.C.; a 
brother, James D. Coleman of Hutchinson, Kan.; 10 grandchildren; and 
seven great-grandchildren.
