MORRIS POND BERLIN - Mrs. Bessie Morris Pond, 77, died Saturday afternoon in her home after a long illness. A native of Southampton County, she was a daughter of Lawrence and Mrs. Rosie Morris and the widow of Harry Pond. She was a member of Barrett's Christian Church, where she taught Sunday school. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. James P. Raiford of Berlin. The body was taken to Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, where a funeral service was conducted Monday at 2:30 p.m. by Rev. J. McTeer and Rev. C.E. Gerringer. Burial was in the family cemetery. Bessie J. (MORRIS; Mrs. W.H.
