LOUISE BARLOW POND

   FRANKLIN - Funeral services for Mrs. Louise B. Pond were held Dec. 30 in 
Burdette Baptist Church by the Rev. Edwin C. Thornton, Jr.

   Burial was in Black Creek Cemetery.

   She died Dec. 28 in Newport News.

   She was a member of Burdette Baptist Church.

   Survivors include a son, Jacob Thomas Pond, Jr. of Newport News; two 
sisters, Mrs. John E. Ranson of Hampton and Mrs. Evelyn Skeeter of Smithfield; 
and two grandsons.
