ROBERT GLENN PANTON

    RICHMOND - Funeral services for Robert Glenn Panton, 72, were held Monday 
in Woody Funeral Home, Richmond.  Burial was in Poplar Spring cemetery.

   Panton died Friday in Stewart Metropolitan Hospital*.

   He was a native of Milwaukee, N.C. and the husband of Hazel H. Panton.

   He was retired from the postal services after 30 years.  He was a Methodist.

   Survivors also include three sons, Wallace, C. Panton of Richmond, Wayne 
Austin Panton of Manassas, and Larry Paige Panton of Mechanicsville; one 
brother, John H. Panton of Franklin; five grandchildren; one niece; and one 
nephews.

   The family suggests that donations be made to the Crippled Children’s 
Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
