JOSEPH PINTER

   COURTLAND - A funeral service was held Thursday for Joe Pinter, 41, who 
died Tuesday in Riverside hospital, Newport News.  Graveside services were 
conducted in Riverside Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. by Rev. Michael McDermott.

   A Virginia native, he was a son of John and Mrs. Rose Ross* Pinter.

   He is survived by four sisters, Miss Helen Pinter of Newark, N.J., Miss 
Judy Pinter of Burlington, N.C., Mrs. William Semiklose of Graham, N.C., and 
Mrs. Albert Blick of Courtland; and a brother, Alex Pinter of New York.
