All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ ROSA KESS PINTER Mrs. Rosa Kess Pinter, 64, of Courtland died Wednesday morning, May 14, at Maryview Hospital, Portsmouth, after a short illness. A daughter of the late Paul and Catherine Kuhn Kess of Budapest, Hungary, Mrs. Pinter came to the United States shortly after her marriage and settled in Courtland community. She was a member of the Catholic Church. Deceased is survived by her husband, John Pinter; two sons, Alex Pinter, of New York City and Joe Pinter of Missouri; four daughters, Julia and Helen Pinter of Courtland, Mrs. William Semiklose of Newark, N.J. and Hazel Pinter of Richmond; a brother, Alexander Kess of Hungary; and two grandchildren. The body is now at the Holland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted from the Home at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon by Father J.O. Schmidhauser of Suffolk and burial will be in the cemetery at Courtland.
